FRANKFORT, KY — Morning Pointe of Frankfort residents took a trip to “the people’s house” — best known as Kentucky Governor’s Mansion. Though the governor wasn’t home, the residents enjoyed themselves as they toured the site which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

As part of the life enrichment program, the senior living community enjoys trips to popular tourist attractions that showcase culture and local pride.
