Morning Pointe Residents Thank First Responders
In honor of First Responder Appreciation Week, the residents of Morning Pointe of Frankfort (KY) wanted to thank their neighbors at Franklin County Fire Department Station 9 for all of their hard work and dedication. The residents of the senior living community brought homemade chili, sandwiches, cookies, brownies, and a loving thank you card to the fire station, and it was clear that the firefighters and first responders were touched by the thoughtful gift.
“We can’t say ‘thank you’ enough for all the hard-working men and women [who] risk their lives every day to save and help us!” says Vanessa Damron, the Life Enrichment Director at Morning Pointe of Frankfort. “Fire Station 9 is the station that comes to Morning Pointe of Frankfort when we need help. They are always fast, helpful, and kind.”
