Even in the era of driverless cars, people of all ages remain endlessly fascinated with trains—including the residents of Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa (AL). It is a fascination they share with the members of the Black Warrior Model Railroad Club in Northport, Alabama. In fact, the club members were so eager to share their love of trains with the Morning Pointe residents that they gave the seniors a private tour of their model train exhibit. Residents and club members alike bonded over their love of model trains during this special visit.

“Max Smith and his fellow club member Bradley Fisher…were so special to open up just for Morning Pointe outside of their normal hours so that we could enjoy the museum when it wasn’t crowded,” says Karla Barksdale, the Life Enrichment Director at Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa.
