Residents and associates at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Chattanooga, are gathering school supplies to benefit the Samaritan Center’s “Stock their Lockers” school drive.

As part of the Meaningful Day™ program, the memory care community supports programs benefiting students in Hamilton County.

“We are glad to help our local kids get the supplies they need to start the school year right,” says Alisha Landes, executive director at Morning Pointe. “This school drive is a great opportunity for the community to help students in need succeed in the classroom.”

Visitors can stop and drop off school supplies at The Lantern at Chattanooga, located at 7620 Shallowford Road in Chattanooga, in the decorated barrel through August 12.
