CALHOUN, Ga. — Local kids got a surprise during story time at the Gordon County Library, as Morning Pointe of Calhoun residents and associates brought sweet treats for the kids to enjoy.
Morning Pointe partners with local schools, libraries, businesses and organizations to promote the many benefits of intergenerational programming for children and seniors, supporting educational initiatives that encourage greater learning opportunities for local youth.
“They do such an excellent job with the children,” says Lisa Caldwell, life enrichment director at the assisted living and memory care community. “The increase of children participation continues to grow each week at the Gordon County Library, and we think that is a great thing.”
