FRANKLIN, Ind.– June is National Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Month, and Morning Pointe of Franklin residents are connecting with their roots at the Franklin Farmer’s Market. Saturday mornings are met with excitement, as the seniors at the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community look forward to picking out fresh produce to enjoy at mealtime.
As part of the “Farm to Table” program, Morning Pointe partners with local growers to put local, farm-fresh foods on residents’ plates.
