BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Morning Pointe of Brentwood residents tried out technology, using the iPhone application FaceTime to connect with the community’s Life Enrichment Director Regie Ragland who was in Okinawa, Japan.

Ragland, who had traveled overseas to visit her new grandson, was surprised to see 25 of the Morning Pointe residents who gathered around the computer to chat and offer best wishes during her trip.

As part of the Life Enrichment Program, the assisted living community gives seniors the opportunity to give new technology a try. Morning Pointe of Brentwood also offers technology classes for seniors through its new program, Generations Connected.
