In light of the unusual circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the senior citizens at Morning Pointe of Calhoun assisted living community showed their support for another group of local seniors—the senior class at Sonoraville High School. The Class of 2020 faced a spring semester that was far from typical, and the residents at Morning Pointe wanted to make these students were honored and celebrated for all of their hard work. “The residents enjoyed giving the seniors gift bags full of treats for them. We try to incorporate intergenerational activities into our programming whenever possible because it enriches the lives of both our seniors and the students. Congratulations to the Class of 2020 from all of us here at Morning Pointe!”
