FRANKFORT, KY — With stickers, stationery and googly eyes, the residents at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Frankfort, shared the joy of journaling with Bridgeport Elementary’s fourth and fifth graders, and school librarian Kimberly McCoy.

The seniors and students learned the importance of writing, putting their pencils to the paper, along with fun decorating supplies to let their creativity run wild. Morning Pointe’s Meaningful Day(tm) program embraces intergenerational activities, inviting kids of all ages to spend time with the residents at the memory care community, molding minds and making noteworthy memories.
