FRANKFORT, KY — Morning Pointe of Frankfort residents showed their spirit while being silly for Red Nose Day. The senior living community supported the nationwide cause to benefit children’s health and wellness.
But this act of kindness is nothing new for the residents, who inspired a yearlong volunteerism project called “Make Your Mark.” Morning Pointe senior campuses across the Southeast have teamed up with local organizations and partners to give back 20,000 hours of community service during 2017. So far, Morning Pointe has put in more than 15,000 hours, and the seniors and associates show no signs of slowing down.
