Residents at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Collegedale, kicked off Summer with the Summer Cool Camp at Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church.

As part of the Meaningful Day™ program, the memory care community invites kids from local schools and churches to participate in intergenerational activities both residents and youth visitors enjoy together.

The group takes a week each summer to do a service camp in the Collegedale area. The Lantern residents were privileged to have these children come and play games, do manicures, dance with the residents to music, smile and make new friends.
