Morning Pointe Thanks Firefighters on Patriot Day
In honor of Patriot Day, the residents of Morning Pointe of Chattanooga – Shallowford (TN) visited Hamilton County Fire Department Stations 21 and 8—the stations that serve Morning Pointe of Chattanooga and The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Chattanooga—to thank the men and women there for keeping them safe. Upon arrival at the stations, the residents of the assisted living community presented the firefighters with a plethora of goodies from Chick-fil-A and Dunkin’ Donuts. Exchanges full of smiles, hugs, and laughter followed. The firefighters were just as grateful for the Morning Pointe residents’ thoughtful gesture as the residents were for the firefighters’ dedication to their community.
“Thank you to all our servicemen and [service]women!” says Holly Holcomb, the Life Enrichment Director at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga – Shallowford.
