DANVILLE, KY (June 29, 2016) – Independent Healthcare Properties LLC (IHP) and Morning Pointe Senior Living are pleased to announce Lisa Keller, RN, as executive director for the new Morning Pointe of Danville community.

Keller has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 10 years, and her professional experience over the years has provided her with the opportunity to learn the senior healthcare industry from all aspects. As executive director, she will oversee all of the day-to-day operations of the senior living community, insuring the highest quality of care and customer service.

The Mercer County native graduated from Midway College in Midway with an associate degree in nursing, and Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond with a bachelor degree in nursing.

She worked at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center as a cardiac unit nurse for seven years. Later, she accepted a position at Caretenders Home Health Agency where she worked for eight years as a clinical nurse manager.

In accepting her new role at Morning Pointe of Danville, Keller says she is passionate about building great teams that serve residents with compassion, skill and dignity, and providing a meaningful and joyful life for all residents.

Morning Pointe of Danville, slated to open in early fall of 2016, is a state-of-the art senior living community offering spacious apartments with multiple floor plan choices, and is located at 1375 Perryville Road. The 55,000 square-foot building will feature 44 personal care and 16 secured Alzheimer’s memory care apartments. Morning Pointe of Danville offers individualized care services, amenities and life enrichment programs to enhance quality of life for seniors.

The senior living community is currently accepting deposits, and associates will be available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and by appointment.
