Morning Pointe of Lenoir City (TN) welcomes new interns from Lenoir City High School.

While they don’t officially start their internship until Sept. 22, the eight students visited the assisted living community early to help kick off a Family Night Tailgate Party. They will visit the assisted living community once a week for one semester under the direction of Wendy Miller in the Health Science Education department.

As part of the Life Enrichment Program, Morning Pointe and its Alzheimer’s Memory Care Center of Excellence next door embraces intergenerational activities, inviting local high schools and colleges to interact and spend quality time with the residents. while earning educational credits.
