Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa (AL) resident Susie Copenhaver welcomes new volunteer Beth Gibbs of Gordo, Alabama. Gibbs spent the afternoon at the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community, reading the Bible, singing, and exchanging stories with the residents. “The residents did not want her to leave!” recalls Morning Pointe Lantern program director Lashonda Simmons with a laugh. “We are extremely grateful that Mrs. Gibbs has chosen to become a regular volunteer, and we look forward to her next visit. We hope to receive even more new volunteers. Please do not hesitate to contact us at (205) 886-3433 if interested.”
