The Nashville Flute Choir takes a bow following their performance at Morning Pointe of Brentwood (TN). Under the direction of Karen Mitchell, the flautist group, which is a unique ensemble made up of C flutes, piccolo, alto, and various bass flutes as well as harmony instruments and accompanists combining to produce a beautiful depth in sound, entertained the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community’s residents with a selection of Broadway show tunes. “Our residents loved the program,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Chris Phillips. “In fact, we’re hoping to have the group back in December to play Christmas music for us.”
