Morning Pointe of Franklin (TN) residents Evelyn Lovett, Mary John Oakley, Nancy Sansom, and Pat Harrington display some of the Memorial NoahBears created by Amber Armistead of local charity NoahsBears. Once a month, residents from the assisted living community help Armistead make teddy bears out of the personal fabrics of deceased individuals, which she gives to surviving family members at no cost in memory of her late son, Noah. “The residents wanted to give back to the community and thought that NoahsBears would be a great nonprofit to support since Amber provides the bears free of charge,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Abbigail Nelson. “We think NoahBears are such a creative and meaningful way to remember a lost loved one and are honored to help Amber with this important work.”
