Members of the Ooltewah High School Red Hots dance team strike a pose following a performance at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford (TN). In addition to dancing for the assisted living community’s residents, the award-winning dance team also enjoyed snacking and socializing with the seniors. “The Red Hots reached out to me to plan an event together, as one of the girls has volunteered with me in the past,” explains Morning Pointe life enrichment director Holly Holcomb. “It was really touching to watch the girls find new friends in our residents. We would love to do more things to do together—the girls are already talking about Christmas plans!”
