Peggy Jo Carlisle was born March 7th in Atlanta, Georgia; the first of 4 children. She married Franklin Thomas “Bill” Carlisle when she was 16 years old. She has 4 children–3 boys and 1 girl. Peggy has 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She always enjoys spending time with her granddaughter. Peggy was a career navy wife for the first 20 plus years of her marriage. She was a homemaker her entire marriage. She was widowed August 1, 2006, when her one and only husband died wonderful loving mother; and her family all think the world of her. She is a Christian woman who loves the Lord and enjoys singing to Him. She enjoys listening to music and singing along with the songs.Peggy loves her family and has always been there when they needed her. Her third love has to be her flower gardening. She used to stay in the yard all day tending to her flowers; we always knew where to look for her. Peggy has never met a stranger and enjoys meeting and being around people. She is such a fantastic person, and I feel extremely blessed to have had her as a mother and role model. Peggy moved to Morning Pointe in September and she really enjoys being here with us.
