The Greeneville Astros Baseball players visited Morning Pointe of Greeneville (TN) on July 7 to have lunch and spend some time socializing with the residents. This has been the second year that the team has visited the assisted living community.
Thirty-five ball players and two coaches met with the residents who enjoyed hearing about the athletes’ lives and times playing baseball. The residents treated the guests to homemade guacamole, pico de gallo, tacos, black beans, rice, chips and salsa, and flan for dessert. After lunch, the residents readied themselves for the Greeneville Astros game that night.
