Morning Pointe of Franklin (Ind.) has partnered with Franklin College through a new program that provides community involvement opportunities for first-time college students.

As part of the Life Enrichment Program, the assisted living community invites young people from local schools and organizations to engage in meaningful intergenerational activities with the residents.

The young adults in Franklin College’s new program are the first in their families to have ever attended college. The program’s mission is to help students break the cycle and start themselves and their families on new paths through higher education.

Crafts, devotional activities and a volleyball game were all on the agenda for the seniors and students.
