With her jockey on her back, Hope, a retired racing greyhound, races right into the hearts of those that call Morning Pointe of Franklin (TN) home.

As part of the Life Enrichment Program, the assisted living and memory care community welcomes furry and four-legged friends to offer the benefits of “pet therapy” to the residents.

Hope, and her human, Sharon Collins, are among local pet owners and their dogs who regularly visit Morning Pointe, bringing with them an abundance of cuddles and comfort to the seniors with every visit.

As a retired racing animal, Hope requires extra attention. Fortunately, the assisted living and memory care residents have no problem giving her all the love she needs.
