FRANKLIN, Ind. — Morning Pointe of Franklin residents loved getting their hands in the clay as fellow resident Noble Wright taught his friends how to make pottery. Noble, who has done pottery for years, keeps reminding the seniors at the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community that the finished product will come in due time after many hours and a lot of patience. The craft has been so successful, Morning Pointe is considering creating a regular class which will include staff and family.
Morning Pointe embraces the proven benefits of art therapy as part of the life enrichment and Meaningful Day(tm) programs, allowing residents to express themselves, while making fun and unique creations.
