Primrose Pre-K Students Visit Morning Pointe
Intergenerational activities are extremely important to proper social development—for both the young and the elderly. Seeking to learn from some of the wisest members of society, pre-K students from Primrose School of Hixson students visit Morning Pointe of Hixson (TN) once a month, and the residents of the senior living community are always happy to spend time with their young guests.
“What a joy it is to see their smiling faces! The little ones have such vivid imaginations, and they keep our residents smiling all morning long,” says Christine Rivers, the Life Enrichment Director at Morning Pointe of Hixson. “This week, we made bracelets with the little ones. Some of our residents had a challenge beading the beads on the string, and the kids were so helpful to make one for them. It was a sweet and tender moment to see!”
