Retired pastor, local author, and Morning Pointe of Franklin (TN) resident Chuck Reinhold displays his book A Life Worth Living, which can be found on the shelves of the assisted living community’s library. As a pastor, Reinhold spent his life ministering to others. Now, even in retirement, he has found a way to continue his ministry at the assisted living community. Every week, Reinhold leads a devotional group for his fellow residents, delivering an uplifting message to everyone who joins him. “The activities department works to find ways for residents to engage in programs that are meaningful and purposeful for them personally,” says campus programs director Ashley Briggs. “We don’t want to just keep residents busy for busyness’s sake—we want them to be active participants in the community, pursuing their passions and making use of their unique skills just as they always have.”
