The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Clinton (TN) resident Jean Lawson creates a tree lush with a colorful fall foliage during an art lesson taught by Roane State Community College student L.B. Greaf. Greaf is just one of many Roane State students who have volunteered at The Lantern as part of ongoing partnership between the art students of Professor Holly Senter and the memory care community. “Many of the residents participated and were able to follow the user-friendly instructions,” says Sarah Smith, the Lantern Program Coordinator at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Clinton. “The residents certainly seemed proud of their final results!”
