The residents love sharing stories and memories! Mary Henson said that she never celebrated St. Patrick’s Day when she was younger. Alice McDaniel said that she always wanted to be from Ireland but she never was! Eloise Smith said that her husband, Paul, had a green suit that he saved for St. Patrick’s Day every year! He wore it without fail, we all agreed we should have seen that! Finally, Vera Mosey said that she and her husband always walked with the American Legion in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade! No matter how you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, remember to wear green, eat some corned beef and cabbage and enjoy the day! This year at Morning Pointe in Lenoir City, we are celebrating Holy Week along with many other festivities this month! We began the special services on Ash Wednesday at 4 p.m. The season of Lent continues through Holy Week with services each day at 2:30 p.m. Good Friday will be the last service and it will be followed by a traditional Easter Egg Hunt inside the community!
