Provided by UK Sanders-Brown Center on Aging
Jan. 23 • 6:30-8 p.m.
Join us for an educational session focused on the stages of Alzheimer’s disease.
About this Program:
The University of Kentucky Sanders-Brown Center on Aging, partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association and KY Telecare, provides ongoing educational programs, caregiver training and Q & A sessions for the family members and friends of persons diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders in your local community. Using the interactive telemedicine system, this is part of our effort to bring the support services of the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging to persons living outside the greater Lexington area.
Discussion will include:
– What to expect as the disease progresses from a behavioral and functional standpoint.
– Tips on how to support your loved one throughout the disease.
– General questions and answer session.
This event is FREE and open to the public by registration.
Registration is required by January 16!
