Students from Lenoir City High School and Pellissippi State Community College and residents from Morning Pointe of Lenoir City (TN) celebrate a fun afternoon of music and games together. As part of a collaborative volunteer project, the students created a game of singo (musical bingo) for the assisted living community’s residents to play, which heavily featured 1940s and 1950s hits and traditional church hymns. The students also supplied prizes for the competition’s winners. “The students helped the residents with the singo games and were so excited to do so. They enjoyed it as much as the residents did,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Camie Entrekin.
