The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Franklin (TN) resident Brady Luckett and the Golden Melodies members Betty Murray, Verna Hodge, Bill Sennhauser, Regina Blackwood, Donna Phelka, Marylyn Johnson, Annie Forner, and choir director Lexie Langella take a bow following the choir’s performance at the memory care community. The Golden Melodies are a choir of residents from The Manor at Steeplechase independent living community, and The Lantern residents had the honor of being their first audience. “Brady Luckett, who spent years performing in his church choir, didn’t hesitate to join the choir in song. The members of the choir welcomed him with open arms, and he finished out the performance with the Golden Melodies,” says Lantern executive director Ashley Briggs. “We are so grateful to be able to partner with local senior communities to engage our residents.”
