Jill Childs (left) introduces her dog Aero to The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Collegedale (TN) resident Marilyn Selman (right). A three-year-old chocolate Labrador retriever, Aero is certified with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. “We are so thankful to Jill for bringing Aero to visit us!” says Michele Gunther, the Lantern program director at the memory care community. “Many of the residents find it very relaxing to spend time with animals, especially when they are as gentle and sweet as Aero. They loved her eyes and soft coat!”
