FRANKLIN, Tenn. — The YMCA Senior Glee Club visited the residents at Morning Pointe of Franklin, bringing the holiday harmonies and sharing the spirit of the season with the seniors.
From “Silent Night” to “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” cheery Christmas classics brought everyone to their feet.
As part of the life enrichment and Meaningful Day(tm) programs, the assisted living and memory care community invites talented local musicians and performers to bring the many benefits of music therapy to the residents.
“They are an inspiration to our residents, that even in retirement, seniors can make a difference,” says Patricia Adcock, life enrichment director at Morning Pointe.
