FRANKFORT, KY — Franklin County High School student Piper Clark, 16, started playing the piano nine years ago. Today, under the instruction of Marcella Mullins, Clark enjoys bringing music to the ears of residents at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Frankfort.
In her most recent piano recital, she brought Christmas cheer to the seniors, performing the harmonies of the holiday for everyone to enjoy.
As part of the Meaningful Day™ program, the memory care community invites talented musicians and performers of all kinds to bring the many benefits of music therapy to the residents.
