Morning Pointe of Athens (TN) volunteer Jack Hutsell and residents Juanita Robinson and Brenda Rogers play with registered therapy dogs Chloe and Zoey. Both Hutsell and the dogs visited the assisted living community to celebrate Independence Day with the residents. “Frequent interaction with children can help seniors engage in physical activity as the children and seniors play together, and residents enjoy the spirit and joy that kids—and puppies!—bring to the Morning Pointe community,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Diane Hutsell with a laugh.
