CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — May 19, 2026 — Tonight, the heat is on as Morning Pointe Senior Living brings its highly anticipated Top Chef Challenge Final Round to Chattanooga. The public is invited to experience the excitement, creativity, and flavor firsthand at 5:00 p.m. at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga Assisted Living, where four finalist Food Service Directors will go head-to-head in a live culinary showdown complete with signature dishes, live judging, and public tastings. It is a chance for guests to experience the passion and talent behind the meals served every day in Morning Pointe Assisted Living and Memory Care communities while sampling each of the finalists’ featured dishes.
Representing the Bluegrass Region is Kevin Horner of Morning Pointe of Lexington, who advanced with his shrimp and grits. From the Smoky Region, Brandon Turner of The Lantern at Morning Pointe Hardin Valley earned his place with a spinach and chicken lasagna. Caletta Alsup of Morning Pointe of Brentwood will represent the Cumberland Region with her Chicken Monterey, and Brittany Brown of Morning Pointe at Happy Valley rounds out the finalists with her pan-seared Salmon Florentine.
Each competitor will prepare and present their signature dish live, giving attendees a front-row seat to the creativity and precision that define the organization’s dining program.
“This is where everything comes together,” said Justin Leiter, Director of Dining Operations for Morning Pointe Senior Living. “Our residents helped choose these finalists, and now the community gets to see their talent in action. It is a fun, high-energy event, and we would love for people to come out and be part of it.”
Dishes will be judged on taste and texture, presentation and creativity, nutrition and balance, resident appeal, cost and feasibility, and overall professionalism.
Beyond the competition, the evening highlights something deeper: the role food plays in connection, comfort, and daily life for residents. Events like this give families and community members a chance to see firsthand the care and intention that go into every meal.
Guests attending can expect an engaging atmosphere, a chance to support local culinary talent, and a hands-on tasting experience that brings the competition to life.
