Excellence in Action: Morning Pointe of Owensboro Marks Deficiency-Free Survey and $2.5M Renovation with Grand Opening August 14

OWENSBORO, Ky. (July 14, 2025)Morning Pointe of Owensboro Assisted Living has achieved a deficiency-free health licensure survey, an outstanding mark of excellence awarded by state regulators—and now, the community is ready to celebrate in style. On Thursday, August 14, Morning Pointe will host its long-awaited Grand Opening Celebration, showcasing its newly completed $2.5 million renovation alongside this remarkable recognition of top-tier care.

A Grand Opening

Morning Pointe of Owensboro, Kentucky—located at 3362 Buckland Square—will welcome guests for an official ribbon-cutting, guided tours, live music and heavy hors d’oeuvres. The formal program and ribbon-cutting will take place at 4:30 p.m. City, county and local leaders will share the positive impact of the assisted living community and its role in providing needed choices for senior care in the region.

“We are incredibly grateful for the patience shown by our residents, families, and staff during the recent weather-related delays,” said Karleigh Roby, executive director at Morning Pointe of Owensboro. “Now that repairs are complete across the region, we’re excited to finally share the beautiful transformation of our community with our neighbors and partners.”

Originally scheduled for April, the grand opening was postponed out of sensitivity to widespread hailstorm recovery efforts in the community. Now, with those repairs behind them, Morning Pointe is ready to celebrate this exciting new chapter.
