Five Days Until Showtime: 13 Middle Tennessee Seniors Prepare for Their Franklin Theatre Debut

Seniors Got Talent finalists are ready to share their talents, stories and personalities with the community on Oct. 6

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (October 1, 2026) — The countdown is on.

In just five days, 13 Middle Tennessee adults ages 60 and older will take the stage at the Franklin Theatre for the 2026 Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent Finals, bringing an evening of music, laughter and performances to one of Franklin’s best-known stages.

The 13 finalists come from across Middle Tennessee, including Franklin, Brentwood, Spring Hill, Columbia and surrounding communities, and have spent the past several weeks preparing to share what they do best in front of a live audience.

And with performances ranging from various genres of singing and opera to ventriloquism and instrument performances, audiences can expect plenty of variety throughout the evening.

But for the performers, the experience is about more than competing.

Seniors Got Talent gives local older adults an opportunity to step outside their everyday routines, share something they enjoy and experience the excitement of performing for their community. For family members and friends in the audience, it is a chance to cheer on someone they know. For the broader community, it is an opportunity to see the talent and personality of older adults from across Middle Tennessee take center stage.

“Now that we’re just days away, the excitement is really building,” said Miranda Perez, executive director of the Morning Pointe Foundation. “These finalists have put themselves out there, shared their talents and taken on the challenge of performing for a live audience. We’re looking forward to celebrating them and giving the community a night they will remember.”

A Night With an Impact Beyond the Stage

Presented by the Morning Pointe Foundation in partnership with Morning Pointe Senior Living, Seniors Got Talent also supports the Foundation’s work to strengthen senior services and prepare the next generation of professionals.

The Foundation provides scholarships for students pursuing careers in nursing, culinary arts, therapy and social work, along with free caregiver education programs for families and caregivers.

In Middle Tennessee, Foundation partners include Columbia State Community College, Lipscomb University, TCAT Dickson–Williamson County and Motlow State Community College, helping prepare students for careers across healthcare and senior care.

So while the focus on Oct. 6 will be on the performers under the Franklin Theatre lights, the event also helps support students and families throughout the region.

Tickets are still available, and the community is invited to join the finalists for an evening celebrating local talent, passion and the people behind the performances.
