Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa to Host Community Winter Formal for Area Seniors

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — January 5, 2026 — Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa will welcome area seniors to a festive afternoon of music, connection, and celebration during its upcoming Winter Formal, taking place Wednesday, January 14, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the McAbee Center.

The Winter Formal is a community-focused event hosted in partnership with Focus 50+ and VIPCare. Designed to encourage social engagement and build meaningful community relationships, the event offers seniors a chance to enjoy a classic formal dance atmosphere in a welcoming, relaxed setting.

Guests can expect DJ-led music, a professional photographer to capture special moments, and light refreshments throughout the afternoon. The event is open to the public and provides an opportunity for attendees to connect with one another while learning more about local senior-focused resources and services.

The Winter Formal will be held at the McAbee Center, located at 3801 Loop Road in Tuscaloosa.
