OWENSBORO, Ky. (June 8, 2026) — Families often find themselves making important decisions about aging, caregiving, memory loss, rehabilitation, hospice care, and legal planning with little warning and even less guidance.
While Owensboro is home to a wide range of organizations dedicated to serving older adults, families are often forced to navigate those services separately, piecing together information from multiple providers during what can be an already stressful and emotional time.
To help simplify that process, Morning Pointe of Owensboro Assisted Living is bringing together local experts from across the senior care spectrum for Aging in Owensboro, a free educational event designed to connect seniors, caregivers, and families with trusted resources all in one place.
The event will take place Thursday, June 25, at 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Senior Community Center of Owensboro-Daviess County.
“Families often don’t know what questions to ask until they find themselves facing a major life change or health challenge involving a loved one,” said Jacob Whitfill, executive director at Morning Pointe of Owensboro Assisted Living. “By bringing together professionals from a variety of disciplines, we hope to make it easier for people to learn about the resources available in our community and feel more confident about planning for the future.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from professionals representing a variety of aging-related services, including caregiving support, hospice care, rehabilitation, memory care, elder law, senior living, and care consulting.
