The pageant will take place on July 11 at 7 p.m. at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center at 112 Everbright Ave. in Franklin. Up to 25 senior ladies, ages 55 and up, may compete.

To apply, seniors need to email the following information to franklintn-ed@morningpointe.com by July 1:

Those who are selected will be notified. There is a $150 nonrefundable fee to compete.

The competition will involve an interview, a fashion/fun wear contest and an evening gown contest. The top five contestants will advance to answer a final question to determine the winner for Miss Senior Franklin.

Proceeds from registration fees, sponsorships and ticket sales will go to the Morning Pointe Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to provide clinical scholarships and caregiver support. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Morning Pointe Senior Living.

Jenna Wetherholt, executive director at Morning Pointe of Franklin, is the main organizer for the event. She has competed in multiple pageants over the years, including most recently in the 2024 Miss Tennessee USA Pageant.

“I am so excited to bring my personal pageant experience to help put together a fun event for seniors in our area,” she said. “I have always loved seniors, and it brings me so much joy to share this experience with them, and to do so in a way that will raise funds for such a good cause.”
