HIXSON, Tenn. — April 9, 2026 — For families navigating the challenges of dementia, having the right support can make all the difference. Morning Pointe Senior Living is bringing that support to the Hixson community through a new educational and connection-based series designed specifically for caregivers.
Morning Pointe of Hixson Assisted Living, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association Tennessee Chapter, will launch its Empowered Caregiver in-person series on Tuesday, April 21, at 6:00 p.m. The free, five-part series is open to the public and created to equip caregivers with practical tools, knowledge, and encouragement.
Held monthly on the third Tuesday, each session will focus on a key aspect of the caregiving journey, including building a strong foundation, supporting independence, communicating effectively, responding to behavioral changes, and understanding available services and support.
“This series is about meeting people where they are,” said Robyn Jackson, Executive Director at Morning Pointe of Hixson Assisted Living. “Caregiving can feel overwhelming at times, but having the right information and a supportive community can make a meaningful difference. We want families to feel more confident and less alone on this journey.”
Sessions will take place at Morning Pointe of Hixson Assisted Living, located at 5501 Old Hixson Pike. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for time to connect and network with others.
