CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (May 28, 2026) – Chattanooga’s stage is about to come alive with music, laughter, storytelling, and unforgettable moments as the Morning Pointe Foundation’s 7th Annual Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent competition returns this summer. Auditions officially open June 22-26, inviting seniors from across the region to step into the spotlight and share the talents, passions, and performances that continue to inspire audiences year after year.
The competition is open to all seniors age 60 and older, not just Morning Pointe residents, and top performers will compete for cash prizes, including:
• 1st Place: $1,000
• 2nd Place: $500
• 3rd Place: $250
Top contestants selected from auditions will be notified on July 1.

From powerful vocal performances and heartfelt piano pieces to comedy acts, dancing, storytelling, and unexpected surprises, Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent has become one of Chattanooga’s most uplifting summer traditions, celebrating the creativity, courage, and passion of older adults across the region.
“Every year, this event reminds us that talent, confidence, and creativity never fade with age,” said Miranda Perez, executive director of the Morning Pointe Foundation. “We’ve watched performers step forward and truly inspire audiences, whether they’ve been entertaining for decades or are sharing a hidden talent for the very first time. Chattanooga has embraced this event in such a special way, and we’re excited to welcome even more seniors to audition for our 7th year.”
In addition to entertaining the community, Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent serves as a fundraiser for the Morning Pointe Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing senior care through scholarships, caregiver support, and educational partnerships. Funds raised through sponsorships, ticket sales, and audience participation help support local students pursuing nursing and healthcare-related education.
The Chattanooga-area schools benefiting from Foundation scholarships include Chattanooga State Community College, Tennessee College of Applied Technology Chattanooga, Dalton State College, and Cleveland State Community College.
