Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa receives company’s Associate Satisfaction Award

Morning Pointe Senior Living leadership recognized Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa Assisted Living and Memory Care on Dec. 6 with its Associate Satisfaction Award for 2023.

The award was presented at Morning Pointe’s annual awards ceremony and holiday banquet in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where the company is based. It recognizes low turnover, a high engagement rate among associates and high tenure.

Kendra Martin, executive director at Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa, accepted the award on behalf of her community.

“Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa is a family,” said Martin. “Like family, we may not always agree on everything, but we all understand the mission is providing excellent care to our residents. As much as I care about the well-being of my residents, I feel the same about my staff. I want to ensure that they have a positive and safe working environment with all their essential needs provided to perform their job duties. Showing them they are appreciated is always a focus.”
