FRANKLIN, Tenn. (August 12, 2026) – The stage is waiting, and the Morning Pointe Foundation is looking for Franklin Tennessee’s next senior stars.
With Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent returning to the Franklin area this fall, adults ages 60 and older are invited to audition August 18-20 for the chance to showcase their talents on stage at the historic Franklin Theatre. From singers and dancers to comedians, magicians, poets, storytellers, and unique variety acts, the competition welcomes seniors with talents of all kinds.
Last year’s Franklin-area Seniors Got Talent brought the community together in a big way, raising a record-breaking nearly $40,000 to provide scholarships for students pursuing healthcare careers across Middle Tennessee. This year’s performers will once again have the opportunity to entertain their community while helping support the next generation of healthcare professionals.
“Seniors Got Talent is such a special opportunity because it gives older adults a stage to share something they love while bringing the entire community together around a meaningful cause,” said Miranda Perez, executive director of the Morning Pointe Foundation. “We’ve seen contestants surprise audiences with talents they’ve spent decades developing, and we’re excited to discover who will step into the spotlight this year.”

Seniors ages 60 and older can attend any of the following auditions. No professional performance experience is required, and there is no cost to audition.

Contestants selected through the auditions will advance to the Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent Finals on Tuesday, October 6, at The Franklin Theatre. Finalists will compete for cash prizes, including $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place, and $250 for third place.
Beyond the competition, Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent celebrates the creativity, passion, and accomplishments of older adults while supporting the Morning Pointe Foundation’s mission. Funds raised through the event help provide scholarships to students pursuing careers in nursing, therapy, social work, culinary arts, and other healthcare fields.
“Whether someone has been performing for years or has always had a talent they’ve wanted to share, this is their opportunity to step into the spotlight,” said Perez. “We encourage local seniors to come audition and show us what they’ve got.”
Family members, friends, and community members are also encouraged to spread the word and encourage the talented seniors in their lives to participate.
