FRANKLIN, Tenn. (September 9, 2026) — Franklin is getting ready for a night that proves talent doesn’t retire.
On Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 6:30 p.m., 13 talented seniors and performing groups from across the Middle Tennessee area will take the stage at The Franklin Theatre for the 2026 Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent Finals, bringing music, comedy, inspirational performance and plenty of personality to one of Franklin’s most beloved stages.
Presented by the Morning Pointe Foundation in partnership with Morning Pointe Senior Living, Seniors Got Talent is more than a competition. It is a celebration of older adults and the talents, passions and stories they continue to share with their communities.
For the performers, the evening is an opportunity to step into the spotlight and share something they love. For the audience, it is a chance to experience an evening of entertainment while supporting a cause that reaches far beyond the stage.
Following auditions earlier this year, 13 acts were selected from talented adults ages 60 and older who stepped forward to showcase what they can do. The lineup features everything from opera and ukulele to ventriloquism, trumpet, vocal performances and a 1960s-style music group.

The variety of this year’s lineup is part of what makes Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent such a unique community event. Audiences can expect performances that showcase not only musical talent, but also creativity, personality and the willingness to step outside the ordinary.
But the performances are only part of the story.
Seniors Got Talent gives older adults an opportunity to pursue passions, share talents and take on a challenge in front of their community. Whether they have spent years performing or are stepping into the spotlight for a new experience, each finalist brings a unique story and a reminder that creativity and ambition do not come with an expiration date.
“Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent is about so much more than finding a winner,” said Miranda Perez, executive director of the Morning Pointe Foundation. “It’s about giving older adults a stage to share their talents, celebrating everything they continue to contribute to their communities and reminding all of us that there is no expiration date on pursuing something you love. We can’t wait to see these incredible performers take the stage in Franklin, and we hope the community will come out to cheer them on.”
More Than a Night of Entertainment
While Seniors Got Talent celebrates the talents of older adults, the event also supports a larger mission.
Every ticket purchased helps support the Morning Pointe Foundation, which provides scholarships for students pursuing careers in nursing, social work, therapy and culinary arts, as well as free caregiver education programs for families and caregivers.
In Middle Tennessee, the Foundation partners with schools including Columbia State Community College, Lipscomb University, TCAT Dickson–Williamson County and Motlow State Community College, helping students prepare for careers that will strengthen senior care and services for years to come.
That means an evening spent cheering on Franklin’s talented older adults can also help invest in the future of senior care close to home.
For families, the event is an opportunity to bring generations together. For friends, it’s an entertaining night out. And for anyone who believes age should never stand in the way of pursuing a passion, it is a chance to see that belief come to life on stage.
