A Night of Talent With a Lasting Impact: Tickets Now on Sale for Lexington Seniors Got Talent

Community invited to cheer on local seniors while supporting the future of senior care

LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 17, 2026) — What if one night out could do more than entertain you? What if it could inspire you, celebrate the older adults in your community and help shape the future of senior care?

That’s the heart of the 2026 Lexington Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent, and tickets are now on sale for the highly anticipated finals on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 6:30 p.m. at the Lexington Opera House.

Presented by the Morning Pointe Foundation, Seniors Got Talent brings together talented seniors from across Central Kentucky for an evening of music, laughter, inspiration and friendly competition. But behind every performance is a bigger purpose: celebrating older adults for who they are today while investing in the healthcare professionals who will care for seniors tomorrow.

The evening will feature 12 talented senior finalists, each taking the stage to share a special talent and compete for cash prizes and the title of Lexington’s Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent champion. Their performances will showcase everything from music and dance to comedy and other unique talents—but the impact of the evening extends well beyond the stage.

Every ticket purchased helps support the Morning Pointe Foundation’s scholarship program, which provides educational opportunities for students pursuing careers in nursing, therapy, social work and culinary arts. These are the future professionals who will play an important role in caring for older adults and strengthening senior services for years to come.

“Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent is about so much more than finding a winner,” said Miranda Perez, executive director of the Morning Pointe Foundation. “It’s about giving older adults a stage to share their talents, celebrating everything they continue to contribute to their communities and reminding all of us that there is no expiration date on pursuing something you love. At the same time, the support from our audience helps us invest in the next generation of healthcare professionals. That’s what makes this event so meaningful.”

The impact of Seniors Got Talent can already be seen throughout the region. Last year’s event generated nearly $40,000 in support of the Morning Pointe Foundation’s mission. Community members who attend this year’s Lexington event will have the opportunity to help continue that momentum while enjoying a night centered around some of Central Kentucky’s most inspiring seniors.

And for families, the event offers something especially meaningful: an opportunity to celebrate the older adults in their own lives.

Bring a parent or grandparent. Invite friends. Come cheer on a contestant. Or simply spend an evening watching people prove that age is no barrier to creativity, courage or having fun.

Tickets are available now, and the community is encouraged to reserve seats and be part of this special evening.
