Knoxville-Area Seniors Invited to Step Into the Spotlight at Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent Auditions

Auditions begin Sept. 22 for local older adults ready to share their talents with the community

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (September 18, 2026) — Whether its singing, dancing, playing an instrument, telling jokes, performing magic or sharing another special talent, older adults across the Knoxville area will have their chance to take the stage next week as auditions begin for Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent Knoxville.

The Morning Pointe Foundation is inviting local seniors to audition for the upcoming talent showcase, which gives older adults an opportunity to share something they love with family, friends and their community. Auditions will be held at four Morning Pointe Senior Living communities across the Knoxville area Sept. 22-25.

The auditions are open to seniors throughout the community, whether they have performed for an audience before or simply have a talent they have always enjoyed sharing with others. Performances can include music, dance, comedy, poetry, art and other creative talents.

“Seniors Got Talent is about giving older adults a place to be seen, heard and celebrated for who they are and what they can do,” said Greg A. Vital, co-founder of Morning Pointe Senior Living. “For many of our performers, this is about much more than getting on a stage. It is about having the courage to try something new, sharing a part of themselves with others and bringing people together through the talents they enjoy.”
