Last Days to Compete for $1,000 Prize on Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (August 26, 2025) — The countdown is on! Auditions for the 6th Annual Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent Knoxville showcase started Tuesday, September 23, and will continue through Friday, September 26. Seniors, this is your moment to shine! Adults age 60 and older are invited to audition for their chance to perform at the Historic Bijou Theatre on Tuesday, November 4, at 7 p.m. Knoxville’s showcase has a proud history of uncovering remarkable talent — including two past contestants who went on to compete in rounds of America’s Got Talent. Who will be discovered this year?

Auditions are free and open now, giving seniors the opportunity to show off their singing, dancing, comedy, instrumental, or other unique talents. The final deadline to audition online is September 30, and top contestants will be notified on October 3.

Over the years, Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent Knoxville has uncovered incredible performers—including two contestants who went on to compete in rounds of America’s Got Talent. This year, another group of outstanding seniors will get their chance to step into the spotlight and share their gifts with the community.

Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent isn’t just a celebration of timeless talent—it’s also a powerful fundraiser for the Morning Pointe Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to advancing senior care through education and community partnerships. Proceeds from sponsorships, ticket sales, and People’s Choice votes directly support scholarships in nursing and allied health fields at schools across Tennessee, including TCAT–Williamson, Motlow State Community College, and Columbia State Community College.

The Morning Pointe Foundation hosts four Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent shows each year. Besides Franklin, shows are held in Tennessee in Knoxville and Chattanooga, as well as in Lexington, Kentucky.
