Lexington Senior Center to Host First Seniors Got Talent Audition, Launching 2026 Season

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 30, 2026) – The 7th Annual Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent season is officially underway, with the Lexington Senior Center serving as the very first audition location for this year’s competition.

This year’s Lexington kickoff highlights a growing partnership between Morning Pointe and local community organizations dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults.

“Communities like the Lexington Senior Center play an essential role in helping older adults stay engaged, connected, and celebrated,” said Miranda Perez, executive director of the Morning Pointe Foundation. “Launching our audition season here reflects what Seniors Got Talent is all about—bringing people together where they already feel at home and supported.”

Open to individuals age 60 and older, Seniors Got Talent welcomes participants of all experience levels, whether they are lifelong performers or stepping onto a stage for the very first time.

Presented by the Morning Pointe Foundation, Seniors Got Talent is more than a talent competition. The event supports the Foundation’s mission of advancing senior care through caregiver education and scholarships in nursing, culinary arts, social work, and therapy offered through educational partners across the Southeast. By investing in the next generation of caregivers, the Foundation is helping strengthen the future workforce while enhancing the quality of care for older adults.

Following the kickoff at the Lexington Senior Center, auditions will continue throughout the week at Morning Pointe Senior Living communities across the Greater Lexington area, giving more seniors the opportunity to take the stage.
