LEXINGTON, Ky. —May 28, 2026- The spotlight is calling once again as the Morning Pointe Foundation prepares for the 7th Annual Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent Lexington competition, and this year marks an exciting first for the growing event. As interest and participation continue to expand across the region, Lexington-area seniors will now have the opportunity to audition directly at the Lexington Senior Center during a dedicated local audition event on July 14 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The popular talent competition celebrates the creativity, personality, and lifelong passions of older adults throughout the region. Participants have showcased everything from vocal performances and dancing to comedy acts, musical instruments, poetry, and other unique talents.
“This event continues to grow every year, and we are excited to now offer a dedicated Lexington audition opportunity right at the Lexington Senior Center,” said Miranda Perez, Morning Pointe Foundation Executive Director. “Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent has become so much more than a talent competition. It is a celebration of seniors, their stories, and the joy they bring to our communities. We love seeing people step outside their comfort zones, reconnect with passions they may not have shared in years, and inspire audiences along the way.”
Selected contestants will move on to perform during the main event on Sept. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lexington Opera House. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three performers, including $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place, and $250 for third place. General admission tickets for the main event are $10 plus taxes and fees.
In addition to the Lexington Senior Center auditions, seniors may also audition at Morning Pointe Senior Living communities throughout the region or submit virtual auditions online. Additional audition opportunities include:
• July 9 — Morning Pointe of Danville Assisted Living
• July 16 — Morning Pointe of Frankfort Assisted Living
• July 23 — Morning Pointe of Richmond Assisted Living
• Online video submissions accepted through July 25
